1. QUIET HOURS
Park quiet hours have been firmly established from 10:00 P.M. - 7:00 A.M. During this time any loud music or bothersome activity that creates excessive noise are strictly prohibited. The only exception to this quiet hour period is during New Years Eve when the park reserves their right to extend the hours until 1:00 a.m. for park sponsored events.
Noise from your radio, stereo, pets, party, ATV, spirited discussion or your guests must not impose on other residents at any time. Hidden Shores shall be the sole judge of acceptable noise levels.
2. TRAFFIC
Speed limit within the Village is 10 MPH. Moving vehicles must be driven on designated roadways only and must have head and taillights in order to operate after dark. Motorized vehicles (golf carts, motorcycles and ATVīs) may be used within the Village for transportation only. No cruising or joy riding. All operators of motorized vehicles including Golf carts, electric scooters & ATVīs must be legally licensed for the roadways and at least 16 years of age, no permits, and (childrenīs ATVīs are allowed to be escorted in or out of the park by adult riders). Underage persons caught using the motorized vehicles will have one written warning issued, with a second offense causing the site owner to lose all vehicle privileges other than their car/truck for 1 year. Any trailers that are being towed must be properly connected and comply with all state/federal laws.
Motorized GAS Scooters and skateboards are prohibited, along with towing of same behind a golf cart. Use of gasoline carts & ATVīs during quiet hours is prohibited. All golf carts, RHINO/RANGERS & ATVīs must carry liability insurance AND have Site # displayed on both front lower sides. Guests are allowed 2 golf carts per site including RHINO/RANGERS. After market modifications that have a noise/safety impact must be approved by management.
3. VEHICLES / GOLF CARTS / QUADS
There is a maximum of two (2) vehicles allowed on your lot at any time. Personal Property including motorized vehicles, of site holder ONLY allowed stored on individuals site. Vehicles and watercraft must fit on your space. No parking in the street, in common areas, or vacant lots. UNATTENDED GOLF CARTS MUST BE COMPLETELY PARKED ON YOUR SITE. VEHICLES MUST NOT BE PARKED HALF WAY ON THE ROAD OR IN THE FRONT COMMON AREAS. Parking on vacant lots may result in the guest being charged rent for the vacant lot. No major repairing of any vehicle, changing of oil, flushing of radiators or cleaning of engines or parts can be done in the village. No storage of gasoline and no batteries may be left on site. Please keep vehicle noise at a minimum during quiet hours. (One RV or Resort Home per site) Annual/Semi Annual gate stickers must be permanently attached to registered vehicle, no transfers, and 2 per site. Insurance Stickers must be attached to the left lower front side panel on all Quads/Golf Carts and applicable vehicles. No Unattached trailer parking except in dirt parking lot at entrance of park. All trailers under "transport" must have safety chains attached. All vehicles must have proper and required safety equipment/lights/brakes working maintained in a working order as well as operated in a safe and complete manner.
4. CHECK-IN
RV check-in time is 1:00 pm and Rental Resort Home check-in time is 4:00 pm.
5. CHECK-OUT
Check out time is 1:00 P.M. Arizona time. A late checkout, which interferes with the check-in of a guest to the same site, will result in a charge of one days rental.
6. RV REQUIREMENTS
The management must approve all RVīs. New/Replacement RV "PARKMODELS" must be management approved thru Site Improvement Applications. Skirting is required. All RVīs must be self-contained and connected at all times to our site dumps (does not mean porta-potties) except on specially designated sites. No outside modification of recreational vehicles is permitted without management approval. RVīs must be the owner occupied. Use of RV, other than by the owner, must be approved through the office. Pickup campers must remain on pickup. Sites may not be sublet. Rent is not transferable or assignable and site does not accompany the sale of an RV. No evaporative coolers. No RV's older than 10 years unless approved by management.
7. OCCUPANCY
Per the guidelines set forth by the Bureau of Land Management occupancy is limited to no more than five (5) months, or 150 days per year, either consecutively or in aggregate, with no conveyance of real property. All RV sites are rented on a month-to-month basis, and site reservations can be made for a period of no longer than one-hundred-and-eighty (180) days. Renewal is not guaranteed. Only the individuals and their immediate family listed may occupy the site, unless approved by management. No occupant may reside at the rental space as their sole residency in the County of Yuma. Any activity, which signifies residency, such as working in town, children in school, unauthorized mail delivery or year-round occupancy is a violation of the Rules & Regulations and will result in the termination of your stay .Mail boxes are for the convenience of Hidden Shores Staff and available to winter guests from November 1st thru March 30th.
8. RV SITES
One (1) RV per site. Large boats and enclosed trailers may be required to park off assigned site. Excess items shall not be stored around or under the unit unless skirted. No tenting. No sleeping in cars or in truck vehicles. No outside appliances. No open fires. RVīs, boats, trailers, etc must be offset from the street and rear of site at least five (5) feet and must be parked with access door on opposite side of pedestal. No RVīs parked on vacation home sites other than for loading or unloading purposes. No Hot Tubs or Pools allowed in Park without prior written permission. (Children's 1 ft high wading pools excluded with someone on site to supervise at all times). Cargo/trailers are not permitted for onsite storage (between April 15 & November 1st) and must not remain on site longer than 24 hours.
9. GUESTS and VISITORS

Upon arrival all persons (including Guest & Visitors) on a site must be registered by name with the office and a fee paid if applicable. All guests and their visitors MUST be pre registered before entry is allowed in park. All incoming visitors arriving separately from you must be pre- registered and have their name on the "Visitor List" at the main gate. Failure to do so will result in the visitor denied access to the park. Guests can put their visitors on the list via our Visitor Registration Form link http://www.hiddenshores.com/visitor-form.htmlk . Names must be submitted 24 hours before arrival. Otherwise, you will be required to go to the office to register. Please remember you are responsible for your visitorīs actions and behavior. Guest must be "in park" before Visitor is allowed access to park and site.

Monthly sites (RV sites) are registered to two (2) persons only. All visitors must be registered in the office by the registered guest. Any visitors occupying the RV site OR home without the registered site holder present on site, MUST register at the main office and sign a copy of the resort policy, and is restricted to this "non accompaniment" of no more than four (4) times total per site in park per calendar year, no longer than 7 days per stay, and not to exceed thirty (30) days total in a calendar year. (No one under 21 years of age). Abuse of this policy may result in cancellation of your site. Guests entertaining visitors at the village(until 11PM) shall be responsible for their conduct while on the Village premises and shall be responsible for any charges or damages incurred by the visitor or guest. All overnight visitors must be registered at the office. All guests must abide by the code of conduct that all residence abide by. Hidden Shores reserves the right to refuse and/or eject any and all guest and visitors should they violate property rules.
10. CURFEW
We welcome families. Please remember that children are not the responsibility of other guests or management. Parents are fully liable and responsible for the acts and conduct of their children. The Park has an 11 PM curfew for anyone less than 18 years of age. After 11 PM, anyone under 18 years of age must return to their sites or vacation homes, unless accompanied by their parents. ALL SCOOTERS AND SKATE BOARDS may not be operated after SUNSET. Lights are to be firmly attached to bikes. Failure to follow this curfew may result in termination of your lease or site cancellation
11. DAY USE/EVENTS 7:00 AM until dusk
Designated Day-Use parking areas are provided. Day use/ daily Extra Vehicles (2 vehicles per daily site rental plus boat) charge $10 per car. Do not park or utilize campsites unless you are the registered guest at the site. There is no day use during holiday weekends. All non-sponsored events held using Park facilities, must be approved in writing by management before the event occurs. Contact office for details. Day use charges are for non-guests and visitors for boat launch, beach use, and non-sponsored events, and not for use of showers, laundry facilities, or main building facilities (pool) or overnight parking. Day Use Boat Launch Hours 7:00 AM until DUSK.
12. SITE RENTALS
All rates are based upon 1-2 person occupancy. Up to six (6) persons may occupy one site overnight/no rotations, but extra person charges will apply at the rate of $5 per day per person. The rental of a lot does not include the privilege of using the space for commercial purposes or subleasing.
13. SIGNS
No unauthorized signs or advertising including "For Sale" signs allowed inside park.
14. SMOKING RESTRICTIONS
Hidden Shores endorses a clean, healthy environment. All public buildings are non-smoking.
15. ALCOHOL
No open containers will be allowed in vehicles. Excessive use of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. Drunk and disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and will result in the contacting of local authorities and expulsion from the park.
16. ACTIVITIES
Park facilities and activities are for use of park guests only, unless specified otherwise by park management.
17. SECURITY and EMERGENCIES
To ensure security within the resort, all visitors and guests are required to use car passes issued by the office. No soliciting within the resort without managementīs approval. For fire, police or medical emergencies, PLEASE CALL 911. Front Gate Dial 6710. Interfering with security personnel, security vehicles or failing to comply with their direction could result in expulsion from Hidden Shores.
18. GARBAGE
Please use plastic bags with ties to eliminate odors and insects. Aluminum cans can be taken to the can bin behind the store. All garbage is to be taken from the park OR put in the trash compactor behind the store. Garbage left onsite will incur a charge to your account.
19. SEWER CONNECTIONS
All sewer connections must be sealed per Yuma County health department regulations.
20. EMERGENCY MESSAGES
All emergency messages received between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM will be delivered immediately. All other messages will be placed on the message board located at the office. After hours EMERGENY MESSAGES can be called in to (928) 539-6710.
21. CLOTHESLINES
Clotheslines are prohibited. Towels or bathing suits may be hung within your patio area only.
22. SKATEBOARDS/ROLLERBLADES/ BIKES/SCOOTERS
Skateboards and rollerblades are permitted only on the level streets, (no sidewalks or hills) and only during daylight hours. An adult must accompany any small children driving the small horsepower electric toy vehicles ( no electric scooters), at all times ( Not allowed on main road and Cove/Store Area). Driving these at night or on Hidden Shores Drive is prohibited. The Resort takes no responsibility for monitoring and ensuring the safety of riders on these vehicles. It is the responsibility of the parents and/or guardian of minors to supervise and ensure the safety of these riders.
23. FIRE ARMS/FIREWORKS/TORCHES/FIRES
The resort has a zero tolerance for the brandishing, possession and/or discharging of any and all weapons or fireworks. Possession of Fireworks is illegal in Arizona. Discharge of weapons or fireworks will result in the contacting of local authorities and immediate eviction from Hidden Shores. No Tiki Torches at Vacation Home Sites. No open campfires. All other fires must be contained in approved fire pits/grills and on your site (no streets). All sites must adhere to BLM FIRE POLICY at all times. Deep Fryers are not allowed on site or in park. Written application approval must be obtained from main office to use Fryers at "Last Best Place" only. Firewood stored on site must be in approved container/plastic bin.
24. PETS
American Staffordshire Terriers, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Pit Bull terriers, or Pit Bull family, Rottweilerīs or any dog with aggressive behavior is restricted from the resort. All other conditions for keeping pets are set forth in the pet agreement, which if applicable, is attached, and signed, and made part of the resort policy. All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please clean up after your pet. Failure to comply with the pet policy may result in your pet privileges canceled. No pets, other than "service animals" are allowed in any of the public buildings. Hidden Shores reserves the right to cancel or refuse the allowance of a pet at the resort that Hidden Shores deems to be aggressive or possess aggressive behavior towards people or other animals. Pets will be kept inside your unit after 10 p.m. No unattended pet will be tied outside the unit and left at any time. Pets should not be left unattended inside your unit in case of an electrical failure (AC).
25. DOCKS
The office assigns all docks. "Assignees" only allowed to use dock and at own risk. Golf carts and Jeeps only allowed in B, C, D, & E dock parking areas.
26. BEACH/RAMP and DOCK AREAS
Beach areas are open from Dawn till Dusk. No overnight camping. Moorage for park guests only. Swimming in designated areas only, no lifeguard on duty. No launching permitted in beach areas. Golf cart access permitted on beaches (Carts and Jeeps only at dock area). No pets allowed except for specified areas. No unattended canopyīs reserving spots during the week. Stake and sign ID required for reserving 12ī daily beach spot. (Site & name req on sign) One spot per site, must be a park guest and in the park. No posting of Mooring signs or "roping off areas" along beach front unless boat is in the water on that specific day or before noon on Fridays. Unattached trailers not allowed in parking areas without office permission & sticker.
27. WATERWAYS
All bodies of water including the river, streams and lake-like areas surrounding Hidden Shores are not owned, operated or controlled by Hidden Shores. As such, Hidden Shores takes no responsibility in the control, restrictions or administration of any policies and procedures relating to these water ways. Further, Hidden Shores takes no responsibility for ensuring the safety of any participants of water activities in these waterways, including but not limited to swimming, skiing, fishing, and boating. All renters, guests and invitees at Hidden Shores participate in these activities at their own risk. Any damage to personal property or personal injury arising out of the use of these waterways is not the responsibility of Hidden Shores or their agents.
28. PICNIC TABLES
Picnic tables are added to the site for your enjoyment (except Vacation Homes), they are not part of the site. Tables are on a first come, first served basis.
29. IMPROVEMENTS
All improvements or additions such as, but not limited to: semi permanent awnings, screened rooms, detached AC units, signage, lighting, outside appliances, TV, painting, furniture, vegetation, etc, must be submitted to management for written approval prior to starting work. Drawings are required to show dimensions and locations as well as materials. All improvements made to the site you are renting/leasing, including landscaping, shall at once become part of the realty and belong to Hidden Shores Village, if it so desires. If not, improvements shall be removed upon immediate departure at the renter/lessees expense and the site returned to its natural state otherwise they will become the immediate property of Hidden Shores. Outside Patio furniture only on exterior of Vac home or RV. No wooden or metal sheds or wooden decks, (other than vac homes) allowed in sections A, B, C, and D. All other sheds are to be stored directly behind RV.
Awnings on Resort Homes must be constructed by an Arizona Licensed Contractor
30. VEGETATION & WILDLIFE.
Vegetation may not be pruned, cut, added or removed without written approval from management. The Park does not allow the purposeful feeding of Wildlife inside Park boundaries. This includes Birds (other than Hummingbird Feeders without seed) Lizards and Burros.
31. LIABILITY
All facilities are used at your own risk including launch ramp. The equipment, apparatus and facilities furnished are solely for the convenience of registered guests only. The management will not be responsible for accidents, injuries or loss of property by fire, theft, wind or acts of God.
32. POOL & JACUZZI
All Posted Rules at the Pool and Jacuzzi Will be Enforced. No Child under the age of 4 is allowed in the pool without a "Swim Diaper". Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All Children under the age of 4 MUST wear "Swim Diapers" under their swim suits.
